Description

Food

The eatery is situated in the busy Rivonia Village Shopping Centre, and overlooks the carpark and other neighbouring eateries outdoors, and indoor seating offers a more cosy and airy dining experience, where patrons can also order ready-made meals, homemade ice creams and gyros to go or stay.

Diners can choose from a selection of four imported gyros (pronounced euros) which are made from wheat flour (the more classic style), corn, carob and wholegrain and then a choice of fillings: lamb (grass-fed), chicken (halaal) beef, bifteki (made inhouse daily), vegetarian and dips ranging from avocado to babaganoush, hummus, tzatziki, yoghurt mustard among others.

The mini Vaflaki, also an imported brand from Greece adds a nice mix to the menu offering, especially for kids. On the beverage side, there is a section of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, local ice tea and decadent milkshakes. This spot, newly opened a few weeks ago, is a healthy lunch time or early-dinner alternative from the usual fast-food fare available in Rivonia.Drinks

At the time of visiting, the restaurant was operating on an events liquor licence which meant that alcoholic options were severely limited. The house wine is easy-drinking and enjoyable.
