Corner House Curries: A Taste of Durban

A deep yearning for the authentic taste of the popular “Durban Bunny Chow” and the traditional game of Thunee (card game) was inspiration for the launch of Corner House Curries.

Residing in Joburg in recent years, we often dined at various restaurants in search of an original and quality tasting bunny chow which had been our staple diet in Durban.  Our search continued without success until the idea to bring the authentic “Durban” bunny chow to Joburgers was conceived.

Opening our first store in Gold Reef City Theme Park, the taste of our delicious Indian cuisine had patrons back for more, and with our love for bringing fine dining and flavourful food to customers, our second store opened in Gold Reef City Casino.
