FORTI BISTRO

The Mazzone family, proud owners of many award winning restaurants come from a long line of artigianal Italian Ice cream producers. As a child Giovanni Sr. worked in the family gelateria which formed part of the family establishment “Bar Fortunato” in Pietrastornina, Italy. Fortunato (Forti) has taken the family business to the next level, and Forti Bistro is a typical Italian style Bistro along the lines of Giovanni’s original restaurant – the eponymous Giovanni’s Ristorante in Sunnyside Pretoria. Come and indulge in Neapolitan Pizza, fresh fish and grass fed beef, stupendous pasta and Giovanni’s famous icecream. We are located at the Brooklyn Bridge Centre with indoor and outdoor seating.
