Having recently relocated to the beautiful Modderfontein Reserve, the second largest privately-owned reserve in Gauteng, Fourways Farmers Market has re-established its reputation as the prettiest market in Joburg. The 265-hectare private reserve is the second-largest private park in Gauteng and includes portions of the Modderfontein Spruit, a number of dams, grassland and hills. The market is located on an estate within the reserve and is a mere 10 minutes from Sandton. Newly built roads and access from Marlboro Drive and the N3 ensure the market is easily accessible. There is also ample parking.

Once you’ve entered the traditional farm-style corrugated entrance you’ll find yourself presented with an exquisite refuge from the city. Walk down the lavender path through to the picnic lawn with its splendid view of the Reserve Lake.
